This course leads runners through a series of challenging hills in Winamac, Indiana. Participants will climb 8 hills in total. The course is not to be taken lightly and finishers of the race are applauded for their perseverance. A preview of the course can be found in our photo gallery here.

Registration will take place at the Winamac fire station. The start and finish will be starting here as well. To get to the fire department, From US HWY 35, turn West onto Main St. and go 2 blocks to Logan St. The fire department is at this intersection.

This Challenging 5k race will loop through the western cemetery hills of Winamac, IN. The course will start at the Chamber of Commerce Train Station and proceed west on Main St., a left will be taken where Main St. comes to an end on 50 West. Participants will continue on to Adams St. where they will then take a left. The racers will then continue east on Adams until they come to S. West St. where they will take a right, proceed one block to Washington St. and take another right to continue west on Washington St. Participants will come to the end of Washington St. at 50 West again and take a left followed shortly by a right onto South street. Racers will continue just past the recycling center to 60 West and take a right. Participants will take the next right onto Main St. and follow it till they come to 50 West, where they will take a right. This starts the second loop. The racers will then continue down to Washington St. where they will take a left and follow Washington till they come to S. West St. where they will take a left as they are following the same route by which they came only backwards. At S. West St., racers will go one block to Adams and take a left following Adams to 50 W, where they will take a right. After taking a right onto 50 W the runners will continue on to Main St. where they will take a right to start a fast down hill decent to the finish line.

Refreshments will be available after the run and the run will have 1 water stop at the half way point. Awards will go to the first male and first female overall and to the winners of each age group for the walk and the run.
